Kernel Foundation has successfully provided daily important groceries among 200 underprivileged families in Dulalpur Union on 8 April 2020 as Bangladesh copes with the corona virus pandemic with a shutdown. Kernel Foundation took the initiative named “Save Village to Save the Country” in association with Human Library Bangladesh, Overseas Links and IUTAA to provide these daily groceries items to the marginalized and underserved groups who are barely getting by since a large number of daily wage earners have lost their earning sources during this pandemic. Besides these food items, the Foundation has also handed over Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Masks and sanitizers to UNO for distributing to Medical Officers who are performing their jobs and providing services during this pandemic. Dr Md. Saleh Ahmed, Chairman of Kernel Foundation and Engr. Md. Shamsuddoha along with Ms Fouzia, UNO of Brahmanpara Upazila of Cumilla was presented during this distribution. Kernel Foundation expresses gratitude to UNO, Local leaders and Police for their immense support for making the list of beneficiaries and helps to finish the whole task.
Lastly, Kernel Foundation would like to applause our platform partner IUT Alumni Association, Human Library Bangladesh, Overseas Links, Donors and all undisclosed contributors for their help and support. Without your support, it would be very difficult to success this task.
