In Ramadan 2019, KERNEL Foundation took the initiative to conduct an IFTAR and Payer event in Dulalpur Village, Comilla as a charitable function.

Prior to the IFTAR, KERNEL Foundation took the initiative of Sustainable Village Development Model by introducing the villagers about the Sustainable Development Goals' following issues:

RESETTLEMENT STUDY VISIT

In 2018, KERNEL Foundation visited PADMA BRIDGE RESETTLEMENT PROJECT at Jajira, Shariatpur. The primary reason of this study visit was to determine the current condition of the people living around the project - their previous and current life - and it's differences.

Kernel Foundation has successfully distributed 50sets of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to National Institute of Disease of the Chest and Hospital (NIDCH), Mohakhali Dhaka, Directorate General of Nursing and Midwifery, People's Republic of Bangladesh. Dhaka and Sir Salimullah Medical Hospital Mitford Dhaka.

The Foundation would like to acknowledge and gratitude to the donators and organizers to implement this small event during National Crisis. Items are:

Kernel Foundation has successfully provided daily important groceries among 200 underprivileged families in Dulalpur Union on 8 April 2020 as Bangladesh copes with the corona virus pandemic with a shutdown. Kernel Foundation took the initiative named “Save Village to Save the Country” in association with Human Library Bangladesh, Overseas Links and IUTAA to provide these daily groceries items to the marginalized and underserved groups who are barely getting by since a large number of daily wage earners have lost their earning sources during this pandemic. Besides these food items, the Foundation has also handed over Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Masks and sanitizers to UNO for distributing to Medical Officers who are performing their jobs and providing services during this pandemic. Dr Md. Saleh Ahmed, Chairman of Kernel Foundation and Engr. Md. Shamsuddoha along with Ms Fouzia, UNO of Brahmanpara Upazila of Cumilla was presented during this distribution. Kernel Foundation expresses gratitude to UNO, Local leaders and Police for their immense support for making the list of beneficiaries and helps to finish the whole task.
